Kamelot Auction House will offer diverse selection of property from multiple estates and private collections in its Summer Warehouse Online Auction which will take place on Thursday August 27th beginning at 12PM noon. The eclectic mix includes Orientalia, porcelain, silver, jewelry, collectibles, artwork, lighting, mirrors, architecturals, mid-century modern furnishings, and traditional antique furniture in a number of period styles; Directoire, Empire, Louis XV, Louis XVI, Regency, French Provincial, English, and more. The sale will feature nearly four hundred lots most of which will be offered with no reserve.

A good selection of Asian artwork and ceramics will feature into the sale, highlights include lot 26, a six piece collection of ancient Asian ceramics circa 2000 BC - 1300 AD estimated at $400-$600, a Chinese casket form gilt lacquer eight sided tea caddy circa 1860 (lot 16, $200-$400), a grouping of Chinese porcelain and earthenware figurines (lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6), and a group of eight late nineteenth century Japanese woodblock prints, matted and framed (lots 13 and 14).

Highlights in the area of decorative arts include a period Art Deco green onyx clock/garniture circa 1930 (lot 41, $300-$500), a pair of fine English sterling Turkish coffee pots by Richard Comyns, Hallmark London 1948 weighing 24.84 troy ounces in total (lot 39, $300-$500), and a grouping of art glass (lots 62, 64, and 65).

Also in the mix is a selection of traditional antique furniture with many period styles to choose from. Lot 93 is one of several sets of dining chairs in the sale and features eight late nineteenth century Dutch inspired carved dining chairs with cane back and seat ($600-$900) and lot 103 is a French Louis XVI style ebonized desk having inset leather top over brass trimmed drawers circa 1940 ($700-$900). Other stand outs include a ribbon mahogany Charles X style server circa 1860 (lot 117, $1,000-$1,500), a nineteenth century French Empire flame mahogany commode with marble top (lot 122, $600-$900), and a signed Jansen mahogany marble top console circa 1940 (lot 312, $1,000-$1,500).

For the designers, the sale will feature a selection of twentieth century furnishings with many Art Deco and mid-century modern pieces. Leading the group are four pairs of Harry Bertoia for Knoll diamond chairs with original cloth covers and labels (lots 201, 202, 203, 204, each pair estimated at $400-$600). Also notable are four pairs of petrified wood side tables having natural bark edge tops supported on chrome bases (lots 190, 191, 192, 193, each pair estimated at $1,200-$1,800). Lot 206 is a Robsjohn Gibbings for Widdicomb walnut two-door server, and lot 205 features a Brutalist style painted metal chandelier housing six interior lights circa 1960. Art Deco highlights include an ebonized wood Art Deco style console table having chrome details and mirrored top (lot 283), a French Art Deco Sycamore and maple cabinet having two mirrored doors circa 1930 (lot 276, $700-$900), and an unusual four-door macassar ebony French sideboard with mother of pearl inlay and bronze mounts in the manner of Raphael circa 1940 (lot 292).

The sale will wrap up with a grouping of architectural and wrought iron lots, including apair of bronze architectural panels having pineapple and laurel garland design circa 1930 (lot 340, $1,000-$1,500), a lot of twelve good double sided raised paneled architectural shutters circa 1900 (lot 363, $300-$500), a good and stylish pair of wrought iron semi-circle form garden benches to create a tree surround (lot 369, $600-$1,000), and two nineteenth century French bronze bells inscribed 'Henry Lepaute Horlogers A Paris' and foundry mark 'Crouzet-Hildebrand Fondeur 1885' (lot 385, $1,000-$1,800).
