Herter (attr) Victorian two piece ebonized parlour set circa 1880.

The settee with carved crest rail with figural, leaf and floral decoration. The arms with griffin and fish scale decoration. Recently deaccessioned from a local museum. Rubbing to surface, upholstery very worn, some tears, some losses to carvings.
